Since its inception, MSEL has constantly endeavored to assist the local population around its campus at Kumardhubi.

MSEL has scholarship scheme for local students. They get trained in various vocations in the neighboring Industrial Training Institute. Subsequently, MSEL also absorbs suitable candidates into its rolls, thereby providing valuable employment in and around socially backward areas.

From time to time we arrange technical training to the local students in Computer operation, Tailoring, Carpentry and other traditional trades like Fitter, Electrician, Welding etc. and make them suitable in employment Market.

MSEL has installed a filtration plant to supply filtered water to the entire village around Kumardhubi.

Periodically we organize programmes to create self-help group consisting of village women so that they can help themselves to give First Aid during medical emergencies such as snake bites, epidemics, any accidental case etc.
